Brewing Company located at 25th & Southwest Boulevard was prospering and operating at 100% capacity. The brewery needed to expand their fermentation capacity as quickly as possible.
Multiple roof framing systems were evaluated to support the 2,000,000 pounds of
beer on the 36" thick roof slab. Extensive soils and concrete testing was required,because of the massive weight of the concrete structure combined
with over 200,000 gallons of liquid storage tanks.
Rau Construction worked together with the Architect and Engineer to avoid disruptions and finish the job within the time limitations. Weekly meetings were held to coordinate construction of the new facility and avoid disruptions to the existing Brew Houcontinualse. Dust protection was monitored on a regular basis to ensure all safety issues were addressed.
