Rau Construction worked closely with Dr. Bill Hartong of Wycliff GI and Roger Kaster of Kaster Architects in the design and construction of this new facility. This included numerous meetings with Dr. Hartong, his staff and associates, as well |

as their consultant Ambulatory Surgery Associates. This facility was designed to meet their needs, as well as the requirements of the City, State and Federal agencies. |

The 10,010 facility was a steel framed building with brick and glass exterior. Exterior accent was provided with EIFS work and colored architectural sheetmetal canopy roofing and trim. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
Interior systems included pre-op, surgery procedure and recover areas to institutional standards, dual reception areas, doctors offices and patient exam rooms, med gas and full power backup generation, administrative and storage areas including secure areas for patient records. |
||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
|
The design and permitting phase was completed in 5 months. This included design/build systems from the MEP subcontractors. Construction was completed on time in 7 months, and under budget. |
