Rau Construction Co. recently completed the 85,000 sq.ft. Compass Corporate Center Building, Phase I, located at 11225 College Blvd, Overland Park, KS.  This first class office building located on at one of the most strategic locations in the suburban Kansas City metropolitan marketplace boast a composite structural steel frame with a precast concrete and glass exterior skin accented by granite aggregate, stainless steel and contemporary fixtures.  The building is served by twin elevators, which will transport the tenants to their offices, that have some of the best views in the City.     Construction was completed on time and under budget for this new, fully
Y 2 K compliant office building.

This building is the first of two building planned for the site.  In addition Building I construction, Rau Construction Company was responsible for the complete site development package, utility upgrades, street widening and other infrastructure improvements.

Rau Construction also served as the interior finish general contractor for the major tenants occupying the building, work that demanded high quality finishes and a strict attention to the details.
