Renovation of this pre-civil war era building demanded both historic sensitivity and knowledge of mid to late 19^th century construction techniques to fulfill the rehabilitation goals of this project.  Rau Construction provided both of these to see the successful completion of this historic project in early in 1999.Work included the renovation of the deteriorated structure as well as installation of totally new plumbing, mechancical and electical systems to bring this facility in line with the most up to date standards and amenities while acheiving the historic standards required of a structure that seved as the union army headquarters during the Civil War.
