Chambers Building

Chambers Lofts was completed in May of 2003. This 12 Story high rise building is located on the elevated skywalk system of downtown Kansas City, Missouri.
Work to renovate the building while still keeping the skywalk functions in operation was just one of the challenges faced by Rau Construction.  

This completely modernized building now boasts new commercial spaces on the lower floor and 50 new apartments on floors 3 to 12, totally new electrical, plumbing & HVAC services, high rise code enhancements.  

Additionally great care was taken to replace all the windows with new efficient, and historically approved units as well as an all new windows and a complete restoration of the building's original terracotta facid.
