Construction is under way on the historic renovation of the 7 story Campbell Paint Building in Kansas City's crossroads district, which involves the adaptation of an existing structure to this 58 unit upscale apartment project along with all work necessary to meet state and federal requirements for historic renovation. Included in the scope of work is totally new mechanical and electrical systems, elevator, as well as an "alleyscape" that is sensitive to the historic nature of this building's surroundings. The modifications to the building's frame involve structural concrete details and techniques dating back to when the building was originally constructed.
