The conversion of this historic building required both heavy construction in the modification of the original cast in place concrete structure as well as detail minded finishes for this upper scale historic apartment renovation. Work performed by Rau Construction Company included significant repair and structural in fill, complete replacement of electrical, elevator, mechanical and safety systems.   Occupied in December of 1999 this recently finished project incorporated both the sensitive requirements of historic renovation using both State and Federal tax credits along with the detailed coordination needed for an extensive renovation within the downtown loop.
